MPPE refers to modified polypropylene foam. While retaining the lightweight, shock-absorbing and recyclable advantages of traditional foam materials, it achieves functional upgrades including flame retardancy, insulation and anti-static performance through formula modification.
The material features adjustable density and low weight, which effectively reduces the overall packaging weight and cuts logistics costs. It also boasts reliable shock absorption, protecting battery modules and electronic components from impact and vibration during long-distance transport and stacked storage.
Compared with ordinary foam materials, flame-retardant MPPE stands out in safety performance. Optimized modified formulas enable stable flame retardancy. The material resists sustained combustion with low smoke and low toxicity, greatly lowering fire risks of battery and electronic parts during storage and transit. It offers outstanding electrical insulation to isolate components and prevent short-circuit hazards.
It maintains stable physical properties without deformation or cracking under a wide temperature range, suitable for high-temperature storage in southern regions and low-temperature transportation. Environmentally friendly and odor-free, it can be recycled to align with the green and low-carbon development trend of manufacturing.
Flame-retardant MPPE has been applied in various scenarios: new energy battery module liners, protective packaging for energy storage accessories, insulating structural parts of electronic control units, anti-static liners for precision instruments, etc.
We support CNC sampling and mold development according to customers’ product shapes. MPPE products can be customized in density, thickness, flame retardant grade and color. The whole workflow from demand communication, solution design, sample production, mold opening, mass production to quality inspection and delivery is independently controlled.
A standardized quality control system is implemented in the factory. Multiple inspections are carried out for raw materials, semi-finished and finished products. Density, cushioning performance and flame retardant indicators of each batch of MPPE products are sampled and tested to guarantee batch consistency.
